Documentary · 2026
Dr Murphy features in 1 IN 2, a documentary by David Nicholas Wilkinson about the growing impact of bowel cancer in the UK and Ireland, particularly among younger people. The film challenges common misconceptions, including the belief that bowel cancer only affects older people or always causes obvious symptoms. Early detection is also the subject of Dr Murphy's article Why cancer screening saves lives.
It is in UK cinemas from 13 November 2026, as part of Maggie's 30th anniversary celebrations.
